Curiosity is an essential trait of entrepreneurs. At its most basic, curiosity can be as simple as asking “Why?” But you don’t have to stop with your first question! Sometimes the true answer requires asking “Why?” multiple times.

The But Why? technique provides a framework for student curiosity that helps them discover underlying cause of a challenge, issue, or problem they’ve identified. This technique applies to challenges of all sizes, from the classic question of “Why did the chicken cross the road?” to much larger societal problems.
