On April 12, 2025, we welcomed over 200 supporters to Assembly Hall in Austin for VentureLab’s fourth annual Ready, Set, Startup! gala. Thanks to our presenting sponsor, Brown Advisory, and sponsors Wild Basin, West Chelsea Contemporary, Atlassian, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Morrison Foerster, Kastner/Gravelle, DLA Piper, Goldman Sachs, S3 Ventures, Wilson Sonsini, WERQ, and Upstart 13, and the support of individual donors, the evening was a great success—raising over $215,000 to support youth entrepreneurship education.
Event Highlights
The night included a marching band, VentureLab’s signature Pitch Game, mindset bracelets, artwork from West Chelsea Contemporary, great food, and a fun after party featuring “liquid courage” shots. Guests also received Entrepreneurial Mindset fortune cookies to take home as a reminder of the impact they’re helping make.

This year’s Ready, Set, Startup! featured video shares what happens when a student believes in herself and is empowered to turn a problem into a solution. Victoria’s story shows what’s possible when youth are given the tools to think creatively, solve real-world problems, and see themselves as leaders.
