Celebrating 10 years: VentureLab’s Impact Report

ten years of creating the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators at VentureLab

At VentureLab, we envision a world where every child, regardless of gender, race or economic status, is empowered to fully participate in creating the future through entrepreneurial and STEM education.  To that end, we are on a mission to create the next generation of diverse innovators and changemakers by making entrepreneurship education accessible to ALL youth.

Since our founding by Dr. Cristal Glangchai in 2013, we have served more than 747,000 students in 4425 schools in over 155 countries. 90% of our direct delivery participants are girls or students of color. VentureLab has partnered with afterschool programs, the Mott Foundation, Girl Scouts, homeschool groups, and other nonprofits to help inspire and touch as many young lives as possible.

We’ve had the privilege over the past ten years of witnessing the life changing power of entrepreneurship education, as our students have continued their studies, begun their careers, and even become actual entrepreneurs. Our teacher training initiatives have resulted in improved classroom instruction, while mentorship and seed funding have had a profoundly positive impact on the self-esteem and ambitions of our youth, enabling them to bring their ideas to life.
